EVER THOUGHT OF BUILDING YOUR OWN WATERFALL FOUNTAIN?Now that's a real conversation piece-a pond in your garden. Where did you get it? How did you build it? Or even, how do you get the fish in there? A pond is a great addition to any garden or yard, and a waterfall fountain may be the finishing touch on a beautiful amenity. A waterfall fountain in your garden brings a feeling of effervescence and living nature to your property. It provides a visual delight as well as the soothing sound of a mountain stream. Have you ever visited Niagara Falls or been to another large waterfall? Imagine being able to bring some of that spectacle to your own garden. Some people have even installed waterfall fountains indoors, as decorative furniture. Types Of Water Fountains Waterfall fountains recirculate the water, keeping it constantly moving. This is not always necessary, but can improve the living conditions of your pond for aquatic life and certain types of plants. High quality waterfall fountains are durable and natural looking, and usually lightweight. There are many kinds of fountains to choose from, and not just in visual design. There are a host of waterfall settings to choose from, such as bubble effects, cones, jets, sprays and custom created pipes. These pipe heads can be used to fit statues, jars and practically anything your imagination can come up with. Selection And Installation Tips When you're installing a waterfall fountain be careful to make sure the height of the sprayer is not more than half the height of the pond. If it's placed too high then during windy days this will result in too much water being sprayed outside the pond. Waterfall fountains are available in beautiful natural rock designs. They are usually made from fiberglass or resin, and not "real" rock--or else they would be anything but lightweight, and a chore to carry around. Yet the designs are intricate and make each fountain look like real stone. Many of these not only provide aural and visual stimulation but include special effects lighting.
